If a crime has been committed against you and you wish to report it there are a number of ways to do so:

Online – you can visit www.met.police.uk and report the crime.

Call 999 if:

  • a serious offence is in progress or has just been committed

  • someone is in immediate danger or harm

  • property is in danger of being damaged

  • a serious disruption to the public is likely

NHS 111 is there to make it easier and quicker for patients to get the right advice or treatment they need, be that for their physical or mental health.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Rape Crisis England & Wales is a feminist organisation that supports the work of Rape Crisis Centres across England and Wales. They also raise awareness and understanding of sexual violence and abuse in all its forms.

They are the national umbrella body for the network of autonomous member Rape Crisis Centres across England and Wales.

Rape Crisis exist to improve services and promote the needs and rights of women and girls who have experienced sexual abuse, rape, and all forms of sexual violence. They also work towards the elimination of sexual violence and abuse, raising awareness in the wider community and with government.


Survivors UK provides a national online helpline, individual and group counselling for boys, men and non-binary people aged 13+ who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives.

They also offer emotional support through the justice system, support for friends and families of survivors, and training for professionals and organisations.

They provide specialist services to help people cope and recover and to empower them to ensure their voices are heard individually and collectively at a local and national level.

Their services help people affected by all types of crime and they provide free confidential support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year regardless of whether they have reported the crime to the police or when it occurred and for as long as it is needed.
